What a stunning weekend of cycling. Over 140 miles this week which is not bad going considering I've started back at work. 😂😂 Its definitely been chiller in the mornings when we set out, but I'm holding on to Summer! ☀️ A gravel ride on Friday out to one of my favourite stops, Mursley farm shop and then on Saturday we had the women's ride with my club - wonderful stop at the The Stag in Mentmore, with its fabulous sunny garden. I always love the women's rides - so much fun and great camaraderie. 😍😍 On Sunday took part in the Le Tour Tyringham, which is a local charity ride to raise funds for the Tyringham church . Fantastic 50 mile route up through Bedfordshire following the River Ouse, had a mid ride stop at the Giddy Goat café. I've not been before but totally recommended ! Ran into a couple of friends from the club. Back to the church at the end for a medal and some great home-made cake. It's been really bizarre this weekend watching the UCI Road championships in Wollongong - which is my hometown in Australia, quite funny really as I've been trying to recognise some of the roads, it just feel so surreal watching on TV, wish I was there to watch it in real life!
